Welcome

Vacuum Pumps NZ is proud to be 100% Kiwi family owned. We are
a leading quality supplier of vacuum and low pressure compressor
technology. We offer vacuum solutions and servicing throughout
New Zealand. With our comprehensive range of quality products and
suppliers we can cater to almost any application with flows from
3 – 30,000m3/hr and vacuum levels down to 1x10-8 and beyond.
Also we are the sole distributors for Becker carbon vane and oil
seal pumps, New Zealand made Masport pumps and equipment, Orion
pressure / vacuum pumps, Finder liquid ring pumps, Charles Austen
aeration pump, Green Co side channel blowers (with a "2 Year" warranty)
and much more besides. We have a massive range of filter elements/units,
vanes, gasket sets, couplings, etc for most makes and models are
stocked.
Home of Becker Pumps and Blowers
Inside our site, you will find a rich source of a variety of pumps
for both vacuum and low pressure compressed air. Founded in 1885,
Becker is still family owned and a leader in innovation, from their
inventions of the dry vane pump and combination vacuum/pressure
pump, to their new elliptical vacuum/pressure pump and water-cooled
regenerative blowers. Look to Becker for solutions to your vacuum
and pressure applications that are a breath of fresh air.
Variair, saves money with total control

Variair is Becker's patented Intelligent Variable
Speed Drive
The frequency inverter integrated in the
Variair Unit significantly enhances the performance of vacuum
pumps. It matches the vacuum exactly to customer requirements.
The patented, sensor-less control system that keeps pressure
and volumetric flow constant ensures steady operation, even
where differing suction-air rates or pressure levels are
demanded. The speed range up to 6000 min-1 can be used to
create compact, high-output units. The integrated electronics
saves the need for costly accessories, such as safety valves
or suction sound absorbers. As no unnecessary suction air
is generated, suction noise is kept to a minimum. Matching
delivery exactly to the amount of air actually used guarantees
optimised energy consumption. |

- Significant increase in flow and pressure available.
- Large savings in power consumption possible.
- Regulating range of vacuum and pressure 100%.
- Soft start and less strain on mechanical components.
- Pump and motor never exceed design RPM, operating temperature,
vacuum, pressure or current levels.
- Reduced heat and noise.
- Reduced maintenance.

Rotary Vane Pumps, Oil Free
 |
Dry vacuum pumps may run continuously only
with clean, dry air. Unlike other kinds of pumps, these may
run at any vacuum. Maintenance is extremely simple, and consists
merely of replacing the vanes and cleaning the filters.
The main areas of use include: suction cups conveyors, automatic
machines, and woodworking machines.
Becker dry rotary vane compressors have a lower blast air
temperature due to higher efficiency and an integrated after
cooler. |
Rotary Vane Pumps, Oil Lubricated
 |
Lubricated vacuum pumps are used when the intake
flow may contain moisture, or when a better final pressure
is required. These pumps may run continuously within certain
pressure ranges, or connected to containers to be emptied,
whose volume is sized appropriately for the pump flow rate.
Long-term use at atmospheric pressure is not recommended.
When the amount of vapour intake is considerable, we recommend
using the gas ballast versions. The main areas of use include:
vacuum packaging, thermoforming machines, glass or marble-working
machines, medical and food grade equipment. |
Side Channel Vacuum Pumps
 |
These products are used when a high air flow
and low absolute pressure are required. The intake flow must
be dry and clean, so when necessary you must install the appropriate
filters.
The main areas of use include: pneumatic conveying, suction
cups conveyors, water purification or oxygenation. |
